My New Red Shoes
My New Red Shoes helps homeless and low-income children look and feel confident as they start the school year by providing them with the gift of new clothing and shoes. My New Red Shoes began in 2006 and has helped more than 65,000 homeless and low-income children.
My New Red Shoes works with volunteers to collect, sort, and package shoes and clothing gift cards for children in need. Volunteers can decorate Happy First Day cards, sew gift bags, and collect shoes to donate. These gifts help to boost educational outcomes and self-esteem for children in need but also build a strong, inclusive, compassionate community for all children.
