Art Resource Collaborative for Kids (ARCK), Inc.
ARCK’s mission is to ignite the imagination of under-resourced students through creative programs to promote equitable education for all.
ARCK uses art as a vehicle to teach students the creativity and critical thinking skills required to face complex problems through interdisciplinary projects that integrate Social, Emotional, & Relational Awareness and Social Justice & Equity.
Since 2012, ARCK has offered an innovative pathway for over 3,700 K-8th grade Boston Public School students to become creative, compassionate, and innovative leaders. Committed to educating the whole person, ARCK does not seek to level the field for under-resourced students; we seek to elevate it for everyone.

Together Through Art: Public Art Walk & Festivalhttps://forms.gle/Rvj2K9D4HRqyjrxz5
On August 28, Art Resource Collaborative for Kids (ARCK) and Operation P.E.A.C.E. will host “Together Through Art” to engage the community in a free Public Art Walk and Festival to bring our community back together after a year of social distancing, to build bridges and create meaningful human connections through art, and to promote civic engagement, equitable education, and access to art for all. The Art Walk will start at Ruggles MBTA Station and feature prominent public art pieces in the Fenway neighborhood, concluding with an interactive art making activity and celebration at the final station on Jersey Street outside of Fenway Park. Along the route, participants will have the opportunity to engage with the art (in person and through a curated mobile app), artists, and other community members. At the final station, in collaboration with two Boston-based artists, participants will create their own piece of art that will be integrated into a larger, cohesive installation piece.
ARCK and Operation PEACE are seeking 30-35 volunteers to support this event from 9am-2pm on August 28. Volunteers may assist participants in navigating the route, providing information about the featured artworks, provide assistance at the final art making station, and provide assistance with set-up and tear-down of the event.
