Overview
This lesson will focus on hunger and its effects on the mind and body. Students will explore the causes of hunger and the importance of fighting hunger in all communities.
Objectives
- Students will explore how it feels to be hungry and how it affects your mind and body
- Students will gain an understanding of the reasons why some people are hungry and not able to get enough food
- Students will reflect on their ability to positively impact the lives of those that are hungry in their community

This lesson will focus on hunger as a national issue, with a specific focus on the college student demographic. Students will explore reasons for the rising number of food insecure college students, its negative impacts, and current initiatives designed to help fight hunger among this demographic.

- Students will reflect on ways to help fight hunger in their communities
