Write Letters to the Troops

HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Every care package shipped to our deployed troops, contains a "note from home".  Additionally, we are serving 50,000 troops in Germany.  These letters connect our soldiers/sailors back to home with your notes of inspiration and gratitude.

DESCRIPTION

Create handwritten, heartfelt notes to our deployed troops. Send some good thoughts and messages to soldiers who are far from home.


ITEMS NEEDED

Any kind of paper, pens, markers, crayons of your choice.  If possible, please place note in an unsealed envelope. We will add a star from an American flag.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

No glitter or confetti, please.

1. Make a personal goal of the # of letters you would like to write.

2. Gather your supplies.

3. Write a letter that speaks from your heart. Start with a note and/or happy picture.

*If you want to receive credit for community service hours, take a picture of your cards and upload to PGK's impact form, completing the questionnaire.  Then email info@projectgivingkids.org letting them know you have completed the impact form and need verification for your community service hours.
