WHEN
Groups: We have three time slots you can schedule volunteer shifts: 10-12, 1-3, and/or 2-4. We can accommodate a morning shift and an afternoon shift Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.
Individuals: Sign up for shifts on Thursdays, 10am-12nn.
WHOSE HELP IS REQUIRED
We can accommodate in-person teams of 4 to 10 - depending on your team's needs and social distancing requirements.
HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Throughout the week, generous members of our community bring their new and gently used donations to our Distribution Centers. With the guidance of our team, volunteers help sort and organize the clothing and toiletry items according to our triple-check standards.
DESCRIPTION
We kick off your volunteer experience with a short tour around our facilities, sharing our story and our impact. Then we work with your group to sort, fold, and hang items that will ultimately end up in our schools - sometimes as quickly as the following day!
ITEMS NEEDED
We request that you pair this volunteer opportunity with a Clothing Drive or Amazon Wishlist Drive to bring the experience full circle for your community. This provides a more comprehensive understanding of how your help plays a large role in what we do and why it is so important to the success of our students!
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Anyone 13 years or older may participate. Younger volunteers must come with an adult.
