HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Be the inspiration. YOU can make a difference. TreePeople has a vision of a green Los Angeles. To get there, we rely on volunteers like you to help transform our region into a healthy urban ecosystem-- one tree, one street, one community at a time.

DESCRIPTION

TreePeople works in LA's local mountains and urban forests. Each weekend, TreePeople offers volunteer activities including: tree planting, tree care, mountain restoration days all the way to installing rain gardens or native plant landscape transformations. With more than 3 million trees planted since 1970, our volunteers, young and old, TreePeople is growing Greater Los Angeles into a healthy, fun and viable urban ecosystem.

ITEMS NEEDED

TreePeople provides all the equipment needed for the volunteer events. You are welcome to bring your own gardening gloves, but we will have some for you if not. Do not forget hats and/or sunscreen, depending on the weather!
