HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

You can make a difference this holiday season for the individuals and families that turn to Victory Programs for housing, health, recovery, and hope.  97% of those we serve live below the Federal Poverty Level of $12,760, and the gifts that people wish for are most often things others might take for granted: warm winter clothing, books for children, even cell phone chargers.  Donating your tablets or e-readers can help a child stay on track with remote learning or help a client easily connect with resources like online job-readiness courses.

DESCRIPTION

The holidays are upon us. At Victory Programs, we will do everything we can to create a feeling of warmth and safety for those on the streets and for those staying with us. We’ll let them know as best we can that they are not alone, that their community cares about them. And we need your help.

  1. Brighten up the holiday season for the individuals and families with children in our programs by fulfilling items on our Amazon Holiday Gift Registry
  2. This holiday season, we are also accepting secondhand electronics.  All in-kind donations can be mailed directly to or dropped off at our administrative office: Victory Programs, 965 Massachusetts Ave., Boston, MA 02118.  Our office is open Monday—Friday, between 9 am – 5 pm.
  3. Cold Weather Gear:  Warm socks, hats, gloves, long underwear, hand warmers, hygiene items, etc. They’re desperately important and not just about survival. Distributing these items to homeless individuals builds trust – and that’s the first step to providing services which can get them off the streets. You can purchase and mail/drop-off or shop from our Amazon Holiday Gift Registry
