HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
We simply cannot run our public days without volunteers! By lending your time and love for animals to The Gentle Barn, you will help us educate visitors on what we do and where our animals come from. By being a voice for our animals, you will help build the public's understanding of our healing work and the beautiful animals and people we serve.
DESCRIPTION
Help educate visitors to The Gentle Barn on what we do and our animals. During the hours we are open to the public, work wherever help is needed, from hanging with a pig while sharing his story to helping us keep the animal enclosures clean, and everything in between!
ITEMS NEEDED
Just an outgoing personality, a passion for animals, and a high level of comfort speaking with strangers!
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older and must first come in during normal visitor hours (between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.) on a Sunday to fill out a volunteer application and watch a training presentation.
