HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

A forest with more native plants is a forest where more plants and animals can live. By removing invasive species that threaten to take over and replace native plants, you are protecting the natural ecosystem and creating a better home for our local wildlife.

DESCRIPTION

Invasive plants are plants that take over a forest, and you can help keep the park healthy by removing this harmful vegetation. When you help remove invasive plants, you help make sure that native trees will grow and stay strong, and that the birds, insects and other animals that live in them will stay in the park too.
