HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
People are hungry in our community. Even if employed, people earning minimum wage cannot afford both rent and food. People who are unhoused need not only a meal, but a place to feel welcomed. Hope’s Corner is addressing these needs every Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. by providing a nutritious breakfast and providing a bag lunch for each person to take. You can brighten the day for someone in our community who might otherwise feel hopeless.
DESCRIPTION
Hope's Corner serves a free breakfast every Saturday at the corner of Hope and Mercy Streets in Downtown Mountain View. Help set up, serve and clean up at Hope's Corner breakfast. Visit with guests, if time allows. Families are welcome to serve together. Youth groups (up to 12 people) are welcome to serve with adult supervision. Shift #1: 7-9 am; Shift #2: 8:50-10:45 am. (Please help us respect our guests' privacy by not taking photographs.)
