WHOSE HELP IS REQUIREDAdult
HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
We will be packaging diapers & baby essentials for St John’s Bread & Life. SJBL provides vital access to food & comprehensive support for neighbors in need across Bed Stuy.
Join Repair the World Brooklyn on Monday, Jan 17 at Brooklyn Children’s Museum to package diapers & baby essentials to be donated to Little Essentials. LE offers at-risk families access to children’s supplies & parenting education to promote the health of their young children. Children will participate in a 30-minute project with Repair as part of a day of activities organized by the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Volunteers will also engage in service learning & reflection, exploring Jewish values & the words of Dr. King to honor MLK Weekend of Service. This project is generously made possible by UJA Federation of NY.
Warm clothes as it will take place outside!
Kids under 15 must be supervised by an adult. All volunteers must wear masks outside, which will be provided if needed. Vaccines are not required outdoors. Please pay attention to emails as protocols may change.
