Residents of senior homes often feel lonely and isolated. Approximately 60% do not receive any visitors at all. Receiving a kind note can brighten their day and lift their spirits. Our My Dear Friend letter writing campaign is an easy, quick way to get involved with GlamourGals and make a difference.
DESCRIPTION
At GlamourGals, our mission is to put an end to elder isolation and bring light into the lives of senior citizens. Through our My Dear Friend campaign, volunteers write kind notes to residents of senior homes.

Supplies necessary to write notes - paper, pens, markers, etc.

1. Write the notes! Our founder, Rachel, shares a few tips in this short video, if you need inspiration. You can address the notes to "My Dear Friend" and write a kind, thoughtful, message in clear, large handwriting. You can include your first name and state, if you prefer. Here are some downloadable cards - you can also create your own!
2. Log your notes here. Please make sure only one person is filling out this form if you are writing as a group!
3. Send your notes to a senior home. After you log your notes, we will send you instructions via email within 1-2 business days, with information pertaining to a senior home on our list who will receive your letters and distribute them to their residents.
4. Be sure to tag us on Instagram @GlamourGals throughout the process!
