HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

The West Suburban YMCA is holding a supply drive to benefit The Second Step, a Newton non-profit that supports individuals and families affected by domestic violence.

DESCRIPTION

The Y is partnering with The Second Step to host a volunteer event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Using the items collected during our supply drive earlier this month, volunteers will sort and organize the collected items into "blessing bags" for families in need. 


ITEMS NEEDED

Please consider bringing any of these items to create & donate "Blessing Bags" for families in need:

  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Soap (hand and shower)
  • Deodorant
  • Makeup remover/Face wash
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Q-tips/Cotton rounds
  • Moisturizer/Lotion
  • Baby powder and wipes
  • Diaper rash cream
  • Shaving cream and razors
  • Hats, Gloves/Mittens, Scarves
  • Hand and feet warmers
