HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

For the past 18 years, the MitoAction Energy Walk has allowed MitoAction to transform the lives of families impacted by mitochondrial disease. Through one-on-one support, education, advocacy, weekly support groups, once-a-lifetime wish trips and more, MitoAction supports the entire family throughout their journey. MitoAction’s programs provide a lifeline for the families we serve and relief from the constant day-to-day challenges and isolation they feel dealing with mitochondrial disease. With MitoAction, families know they are not alone on this journey and that we are here every step of the way to guide and uplift them, even on their darkest days.

DESCRIPTION

We are honored to invite you to participate in a spectacular day at the 18th Annual MitoAction Energy Walk & 5K on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Franklin Park Zoo, Boston, MA. Join us and be inspired by the strength, courage, and spirit of some extraordinary individuals and their families.

This unforgettable event would not be possible without the generous support of individuals and companies like yours. To date, this Energy Walk has raised over $1M towards improving the lives of seriously ill individuals and their families. We are extremely grateful and honored by the generosity of our community, volunteers and participants who each year make this important day a tremendous success.

With your support, we can continue to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by mitochondrial disease when they need it most.

On behalf of all of the families we serve, we thank you for your consideration and hope you will walk hand-in-hand with us to support the families impacted by mitochondrial disease.
