HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

We started Don’t Walk By, to share stories from our unhoused community with you, to walk with, or share together. Through the voices of our homeless brothers and sisters, and the shelter and service providers working to make change, we hope to change perceptions and break stigmas. 

DESCRIPTION

Learning about homelessness from those who have experienced homelessness is a great way to help end homelessness.   Often we don't really understand the issues surrounding homelessness or have biases that we are unaware of.  The Winter Walk has created a podcast series called Don't Walk By that allows you to hear from those with "lived experience" and learn more about the issues surrounding homelessness.
