HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
The Cat Adoptions Team (C.A.T.) program goal is to increase the number of cats adopted into homes through placement partners. These partnerships increase our adoption rates and decrease our shelter population.
Volunteer at our off-site cat adoption locations at local pet supply stores to provide care, socialization, and cleaning for adoptable cats and give information to visitors on Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA (PHS) services and programs. Adult volunteers facilitate adoptions. Volunteers 10-17 years old must volunteer with a parent or guardian and can clean litter boxes and kennels, help with feeding, and hand out flyers and other PHS materials to visitors.
Transportation to/from PHS (for orientation) and to/from the pet supply store on days of service.
Volunteers 10-17 years old must volunteer with a parent or guardian.
