WHOSE HELP IS REQUIRED
AdultHOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Friends of the Los Angeles River was saddened to have to cancel our annual LA River CleanUp earlier this year due to Covid-19. We're now excited to offer Angelenos an opportunity to get out in their neighborhoods or on the River to do their own CleanUps and contribute to a healthy and thriving urban environment.
As Spring kicks into gear, we're kicking off a high-voltage new volunteer partnership! FoLAR is proud to team up with the Los Angeles Chargers to mobilize volunteers - like YOU - to increase our impact in our local watershed. The Chargers have launched a new volunteer platform and community - the Bolts Community Crew - to list opportunities year-round to improve our neighborhoods and communities. For the next four weeks the Chargers and FoLAR are partnering to provide you the chance to join the team and increase our impact by tending to the trash found on our streets, parks, and along the LA River with a safe, social-distanced, virtual cleanup! Opportunity runs March 15th to April 15th, 2021.
DESCRIPTION
Join the Bolts Community Crew, our partner Pacific Premier Bank and Friends of the LA River to make an impact on the LA River, its watershed, and beyond leading up to Earth Day 2021
