HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
People who come to Household Goods for kitchen furnishings enjoy selecting pots, pans and other kitchen equipment. Kitchen Starter Kits help them jump start the process and make sure they have all the necessities for preparing meals in their new homes! Clients come from all over the Greater Boston region, including Lowell, Worcester, Framingham, Boston, and more. By providing these everyday items, you can help victims of disasters, people moving into permanent housing, war veterans, refugees and others rebuild their lives.
DESCRIPTION
Making kitchen starter kits is a great way for anyone - especially kids! - to contribute to Household Goods. Items can be purchased at your local dollar store, or you may be able to see what gently used items you already have in your kitchen drawer.
We furnish approximately 200 homes a month, so these kits are always in need. If you are part of a Girl Scout troop, school organization, or just want to experience the joy of giving, please consider the Kitchen Starter Kit project.
