COVID-19 Update: Be a VIRTUAL Walker in our annual Walk for Hunger Hunger
in 2020 - At your Computer!
Once a year on the first Sunday in May
Next up: Sunday, May 3, 2020
WHOSE HELP IS REQUIRED
Walkers walk with their friends, families, or as part of an organized group.
HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
By raising money at The Walk for Hunger, you are making sure people all over Massachusetts have the healthy food they need. No one should go hungry, and you can help! Feeding the hungry has never been more important than right now during the COVID-19 Crisis.
The Walk for Hunger is typically a walk around Boston and Cambridge held every year on the first Sunday in May. This year it is cancelled, but the fundraising will continue through you, our Virtual Walker!
There is no minimum fundraising amount, but those who raise $500 or more join the special Heart & Sole Circle of Walkers.
Comfortable walking clothes, including sneakers, a computer and sense of imagination!
- Register to walk at www.projectbread.org/walk-for-hunger and make a plan for how you will begin raising money to support this great cause.
- You can ask you family, your neighbors, and other people in the community to sponsor you. As they donate, you can tack your progress in your own online Walk Center. If you want to walk as family or as a group, you can also sign up as a team and track all of your progress together.
