This volunteer opportunity is ideal for parent-child pairs or for independent children ages 14 & above to interact with the creative community in Arlington and/or to gain community service hours.

HOW IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Arlington Open Studios is an annual event which brings dozens of local artists and artisans, and hundreds of visitors, together for one day of local art, live music, and more. 

DESCRIPTION

The Arlington Center for the Arts is currently seeking volunteers for our 24th annual Arlington Open Studios event, taking place on Saturday, November 12, 2022. This year's event will take place in two adjacent buildings in Arlington Center: 
  • Arlington Town Hall (730 Mass Ave)
  • Arlington Center for the Arts (20 Academy St, 3rd & 4th Floors) & Arlington Community Center (27 Maple St, 1st Floor)
This event highlights the work of local artists, musicians, and artisans of all kinds, and is free and open to the public. We are looking for volunteers to help artists get set up for the day, great visitors as they arrive, pass out event maps, etc. You can find more info about the event at: https://www.acarts.org/arlington-open-studios

  1.  Please fill out a volunteer application on ACA's website (at https://www.acarts.org/volunteer) or email our staff at info@acarts.org, expressing your interest in helping out at this event. 
  2. An ACA staff member will be back in touch with you about scheduling a brief virtual meeting to discuss the event/volunteer opportunities.
  3. After the virtual meeting, ACA will share a SignUp Genius where volunteers can register for a specific shift, or shifts.
  4. Once you have registered for a specific shift, an ACA staff member will be back in touch via email to confirm your shift and to share any relevant information before the start of the event.
