Come to this spring event to help the forests - and have some fun! You will enjoy music, face painting, crafts and a scavenger hunt while helping with an essential task: pulling up invasive weeds that threaten the Blue Hills. We'll provide everything you need. You just need to come with an adult, your family, or a youth group/club!

1. Water bottle and snack
2. Close-toed shoes
3. Suntan lotion and/or bug spray (if desired)
*You may also want to consider wearing long pants.
Children under 16 need to be accompanied by a parent or other grown-up.
|How it helps||
Invasive species of plants threaten our forests by making it difficult for native plants to grow and by disrupting the natural ecosystems that exist in our forests. Removing invasive species help keep the forests healthy so that wildlife can find food and shelter.
1. Check our calendar for the exact date/time of this great event. (It is typically at the end of May or the beginning of June each year.)
2. Come with your friends and/or family to have a lot of fun while also helping to protect our forest and its natural habitat! Upon arrival, participants will take a short, scenic walk and learn how to identify and remove invasive plants.
3. Be sure to also enjoy the face painting, arts & crafts, and music too!
